The European League of Institutes of the Arts (ELIA)
The European League of Institutes of the Arts, ELIA, represents approximately 350 Higher Arts Education Institutes training artists at a professional level coming from all disciplines in the Arts (Fine Art, Design, Theatre, Music, Dance, Media Arts, Architecture) and from 47 countries.



Manifesta
Manifesta - The European Biennial of Contemporary Art - purposely strives to keep its distance from what are often seen as the dominant centres of artistic production, instead seeking fresh and fertile terrain for the mapping of a new cultural topography. This includes innovations in curatorial practices, exhibition models and education. Each Manifesta biennial aims to investigate and reflect on emerging developments in contemporary art, set within a European context. In doing so, we present local, national and international audiences with new aspects and forms of artistic expression.



Transart Institute
International Masters of Fine Arts program, founded and run by artists and designers, with residencies both in New York and Europe.



SICA Dutch Centre for International Cultural Activities
SICA Dutch Centre for International Cultural Activities promotes the Dutch cultural sector’s international activities and ambitions and creates a platform for opinion forming on international cultural policy. It also provides information and advice on funding possibilities, networks, regions and visas for all artistic disciplines. SICA acts as the implementing body for the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. SICA serves as the gateway to the Dutch cultural sector for Dutch embassies and cultural organisations abroad.



European National Institutions of Culture
EUNIC is a partnership of national institutions for culture, engaged beyond their national borders and operating with a degree of autonomy from their governments. The EUNIC membership currently includes organisations from 25 EU countries and it is intended that this will grow in time to include national institutes for culture from all the member states. The total operating budget of the current EUNIC membership is more than 2.2 billion Euro per annum. The purpose of EUNIC is to create effective partnerships and networks between the participating organisations, to improve and promote cultural diversity and understanding between European societies, and to strengthen international dialogue and co-operation with countries outside Europe.



Finnish Academy of Fine Arts
Finnish Academy of Fine Arts provides the highest university-level theoretical and practical training in Finland in fine arts. It seeks to promote research in the fine arts and to act as a member of the international community of academic education in arts. The purpose of the Academy is to provide broad professional artistic training whilst taking into account new developments in contemporary art.



ECA: European Counsil of Artists
The ECA works for the interests of the professional artists in Europe and for cooperation between them. The founding of the ECA must be viewed in the light of the profound political, social, economic and technological developments currently taking place in Europe. The ECA was officially established in Ebeltoft, Denmark, in May 1995. The idea behind the ECA is to work with issues of common interest to professional artists at an interdisciplinary level. One of the main objectives is to communicate with and influence European policies of concern to artists, and to secure close mutual relations to the political institutions of Europe such as the EU, the council of Europe, UNESCO and other relevant organisations.



EFAH: European Forum for the Arts and Heritage
The European Forum for the Arts and Heritage (EFAH) was founded in 1992 to ensure that cultural associations, operators and artists have a voice in Europe. EFAH's members represent over 5,000 organisations across 25 EU Member States and beyond, active in all cultural domains, ranging from orchestras to writersÍ associations, academic institutions to heritage conservation organisations, national theatres to international cultural networks, conservatoires to choirs and festivals to foundations. They are the driving force of the organisation.



Culturebase Net
Culturebase.net is a high quality database and information source on international artists, it is a unique European initiative of five innovative cultural players and their partners for the promotion of international art and cultural exchange. Culturebase.net is a project developed by the Baltic Sea Culture Center, Poland, House of World Cultures, Germany, Intercult, Sweden, Visiting Arts, Great Britain, and the Danish Center for Culture and Development, with the support of the Culture 2000 programme of the European Union.



AICA: International Association of Art Critics
The International Association of Art Critics (AICA), is a NGO, founded in 1948-9 under the patronage of UNESCO, whose objective it is to support art criticism in all its forms, worldwide and to keep pace with its changing disciplines. AICA's head office, located in Paris, represents and promotes the activities of the Association's 4,200 members, grouped into 64 different Sections, throughout the world. The Association overheads are entirely financed by the subscriptions of its Ordinary Members, Honorary Members and Patrons.



Res Artis
Res Artis is the largest existing network of artist residency programmes, representing the interests of more than 200 centers and organisations in 49 countries worldwide that offer to international artists facilities and conditions conducive for making art.



TATE Britain Live Culture
This initiative placed contemporary performance against the context of the gallery's display of the collection for the first time. Live Culture provided an opportunity to engage with the shifting nature of Live Art practice in relation to the visual arts.



PERFORMA: New Visual Arts Performance
PERFORMA is a non-profit interdisciplinary arts organization committed to the research, development, and presentation of performance by visual artists from around the world. PERFORMA commissions new performance projects in visual arts, established a dedicated performance biennial, consults and collaborates with art institutions and performing art presenters around the world to create dynamic and historically significant performance programs.



Center for Contemporary Art Israel
A registered, non-profit organization founded in 1998 to promote time-based and contemporary artistic practices in Israel.



The Arts Catalyst (Rob La Frenais)
The Arts Catalyst was set up in 1993 to make new connections between science and the arts. Artists are commissioned to create new work in collaboration with scientists and technologists.
